Visit one of the area’s top organic farms to taste products such as honey, olive oil and wine. Later, put on a helmet and headlamp and head inside a lava cave to learn how lava flows are formed. Great tour to see Mount Etna! Our tour guide Andreas was great and very insightful, he answered all our questions and told us many things along the way. Definitely bring something warm to wear. We went mid August and it was about 17 degrees and windy, a lot of people had to buy sweaters in the end, especially if you plan on taking the funicular higher up. The tour of the bee farm was also nice but definitely not the highlight of the trip.

To do !

In the top ! Our perfect French guide! But be careful to choose the excursion, because 6h excursion around the Etna! We see a single crater, a cave and tastings. We wanted to go up to the volcano so we had to pay 65 € more per person! The price includes the funicular + the bus! However, the guide accompanied us to the volcano! Dress warmly if you want to climb high.
