Experience the authentic culture, Materuni village has it all: History culture, cuisine and plenty of lively conversation by visiting a local coffee plantation and meet the coffee boys these guys will help you to make your own cup of coffee using traditional ways, taste local coffee and gained knowledge about coffee from how it is grown until you have it in your cup. We will also have Hot local lunch at the coffee farm and then drive to Arusha on our way back we go for canoe at Lake Duluti and learn different species of birds and about the legendary of the lake in connection to the mere tribe’s, rituals Lake Duluti is formed inside a volcanic crater and has water throughout the year, mainly from groundwater and seasonal rainfall. The crater is a subsidiary vent to Mount Meru (4566m) that towers over the lake. The lake itself also provides the perfect habitat for water birds and Duluti is claimed to have up to 130 different species. The most common birds that can be seen include grey herons, fish eagles, cormorants, ospreys, egrets and kingfishers. We will go canoeing to explore the lake for a different perspective. This is a great way to explore the marsh areas of the lake. Here, huge papyrus plants are a noisy, colorful nesting ground for many of the birds. Usually a canoe trip around the lake takes around 2 hours

Great day out . Mpemba really went out of his way to make sure I enjoyed the full experience. I had told him that I make TikToks so videos were very important to me and he used not only my phone but his own to capture those moments during the day . The waterfall we hiked to is beautiful. On the day we went it had rained a lot so it was so full and water poured from the mountain. Later the lake canoe was so relaxing and I was told about lots of birds that lived in the area as well as different types of lizards and monkeys . A great day with a great guide. Thank you Mpemba , I highly recommend .
