What people are saying about Tamarindo

The driver took us to Playa Minas, a secluded beach in Las Baulas national park. It was just a few days after a full moon and the moon and stars were bright. We saw three turtle trails up and down the beach and then were really lucky to see a fourth trail up the beach. The Olive Ridley turtle was digging her hole as we arrived and then laid her eggs as we watched. It was so good. Don't take a torch with you. They are very sensitive to light. Very nice way to spend an evening in Tamarindo.

Super nice experience with great guide!! Only the tourist idiots, who simply show up 30 minutes too late for pick-up and then shuffle behind them extremely slowly, are of course annoying... but that's not the guide's fault ;) therefore 5 stars! We got to watch 3 large turtles making their way back into the sea.

It was so awesome!! We got lucky and watched an Olive Ridley turtle dig a hole and lay her eggs! The guides were pretty amazing and super knowledgeable! Alex took us right to her and let us watch to the end when she found her way back to the ocean! Amazing! I loved this tour!

A great guide who ended up despite the full moon (unfavorable for turtles who feel safe) by finding two turtles who were preparing the nest It was very moving

We even got a private tour;) mainly through small rivers and on the beach, quad biking was a lot of fun!
