Relax all afternoon on board a catamaran moored in the bay of Playa Tamarindo in Guanacaste. Enjoy an open bar and lunch onboard, sunning trampolines, and equipment to snorkel, kayak, or paddle board.Begin your trip with pickup from the beach. Relax as the skiff delivers you to the decks of the catamaran. Gently travel over the crystal blue waters of the Bay of Playa Tamarindo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, where the engine will be used sparingly for a peaceful afternoon on the water.Lay back at the sunning and lounging trampolines of the boat, or take advantage of the equipment on board, including snorkeling gear, kayaks, and paddle boards. Hop into the ocean for a swim, or duck underwater to take in the wildlife below.Next, enjoy a typical local lunch, prepared by a French chef de cuisine, and served on board the catamaran. Rinse off in the freshwater showers on board, then sip on drinks from the open bar. Lay back and take in the warm sun on the sunning trampolines, suspended over the water.Finally, begin the slow journey back to port while you take in the sunset over the waters.

Sail along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast on a sunset cruise, passing Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white sand beaches, and tropical jungles. Gaze off the bow with a cold tropical drink in your hand as you scan the seas for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish, or even a breaching whale. Stop in a tranquil bay, drop anchor, and enjoy a swim. Snorkel, or take a walk down a deserted white sand beach. While you’re enjoying the sun, sand, and sea, the crew will prepare a lunch of chicken or pasta salad, fruit, chips, pico de gallo, guacamole, and homemade chocolate chip cookies. As the sun sets, you’ll see the ever-changing colors of the sky, while enjoying your favorite drink from the boat’s open bar. Capture the moment to show your family and friends the wonders of a Costa Rican sunset.

Enjoy an afternoon sailing adventure of Costa Rica’s Tamarindo coast on the Pacific Ocean, departing at 12:45 from the south end of Playa Tamarindo. Once you have checked in, you will be shuttled to the 40-foot catamaran sailboat for the start of your adventure. As the sails are raised, relax in the afternoon sun or find a shaded spot in the saloon as the crew serves drinks. You’ll head north along the coast, enjoying the fresh sea breeze, a cold beverage, and some fresh fruit. About an hour into the trip, anchor in a cove where you can snorkel in the warm tropical waters, kayak, SUP, swim to the beach, or just relax on the boat. After the water activites you'll enjoy a delicious afternoon meal. Finally it's happy hour! Pull anchor and raise the sails while the crew eagerly prepares you a tropical cocktail, imperial beer, or other beverage to your liking. Dance to a mix of Latin and rock music as you glide across the ocean en route back to Tamarindo on the look out for sealife such as whales, turtles, and dolphins. After the sun falls below the horizon we'll delivery you back to the beach.

Explore the rich biodiversity of the mangrove forests located near Tamarindo on a guided kayaking tour. Discover local wildlife including howler monkeys on an adventurous outdoor activity. Start the tour at the Tamarindo Estuary with a short training session to get comfortable in the kayak. Paddle your way into the mangrove forest where you will be able to see local fauna in their natural habitat. Arrive at a part of the mangrove forest where a troop of howler monkeys can be found. Listen to their distinctive calls in a serene atmosphere. Encounter a variety of other local wildlife including birdlife and fish species. Afterward, head back to the starting point on the shoes of Tamarindo.

Learn the secrets of the amazing jungles of Costa Rica from your naturalist tour guide as you hike through the rainforest. Then, do a skywalk across incredible hanging bridges that provide the most gorgeous views of this paradise (hike: 1.5 miles (2.5 km)). Snap photos as you explore. After working up an appetite, visit a small local restaurant for a taste of authentic Costa Rican cuisine. Tuck into a delicious lunch that you will never forget. Discover the flower garden with the most beautiful butterflies and take pictures with and of them. Next, go on a short walk to discover Costa Rican wildlife. See sloths in their natural habitat up close as you explore their marvelous ecosystem. Search for world-famous frogs, including incredible red-eyed tree frogs and tiny poison dart frogs. Next, visit a small local farm to taste and learn everything about the traditional natural coffee and chocolate of Costa Rica. Discover how everything is made by hand. Taste natural sugar cane. Finally, return to your pickup location after your authentic Costa Rican experience.

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Playa Minas or a nearby beach that is home to nesting turtles. Playa Minas constitutes one of Costa Rica's most important nesting sites. Between October and April , large numbers of turtles migrate to this region. It remains one of the last untouched beaches in the world, giving it a remote paradise feel. There will be a 700-meter hike in the dark with infrared flashlights provided by your tour guide. Once arriving at the beach, the guide will educate the group on how to respectfully navigate the area. You will see the black turtles, and if you are lucky, the rare leatherback turtles. The leatherback sea turtle is the largest sea turtle in the world, weighing over 1,200 pounds and averaging almost 8 feet in length.

You can appreciate the ocean from above and below, with time to snorkel in a remote beautiful beach away from large tour groups. Alternatively, take the opportunity to paddle board or swim, do some snorkeling, enjoy the ocean with our pool noodles, just before cruising back to land while the sun sets. We will head up north towards Playa Minas, which is a beach that does not receive many tourists, despite its incredible beauty. It is a white sand beach with gentle waves and few rocks. It is surrounded by huge mountains. It is also known as a nesting place for black turtles. While we are anchored you can enjoy our Stand Up Paddle, do some snorkeling or just enjoy being in the water, relaxing on one of our pool noodles. Afterwards, we will call you back to the boat to serve our meal which is Rice with Vegetables, Flavored Ground Beans, Chicken Fajitas, Salad, Sauteed Vegetables, Season Fruits and Dessert. Of course, you will also enjoy our open bar during the whole trip.

Palo Verde National Park encompasses one of the most important wetlands of Central America. You’ll have the opportunity to explore its varied habitats on this half-day jungle river cruise. Throughout the year resident and migrant water birds sharing the mangroves and marshlands with white- tailed deer, coyote, white-nosed coatimundi, howlers, white-faced monkeys, iguanas, and crocodiles. Wildlife is plentiful here, from tiny hummingbirds feeding at heliconia flowers, to the huge and flamboyant Roseate Spoonbills. Enjoy the countryside as it changes from savannah to plantations and small villages as you make your way to the pontoon boat, which is one of the easiest and most rewarding ways to explore Palo Verde. You’ll travel by boat along the Tempisque River, which borders the National Park. You’ll pass through a wide variety of habitats, including pastureland and mangroves. Observe huge crocodiles resting in the sunshine and monkeys moving rapidly through the trees. You’ll see diverse bird species such as the Anhinga, Roseate Spoonbill, Wood Stork, the rare and endangered Jabiru, Blue Heron, White Ibis, and more.

Walk through the exotic jungle, see the fluorescent Aguilar Waterfall and swim in Pilon Thermal Pool, before ending your visit with a delicious lunch of local produce.  On arrival, your guide is waiting to take you on a trek through the beautiful tropical rainforest on the northern slope of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. The 6km trail is alive with a vibrant ecosystem and there is plenty of wildlife and plants to be seen along the way.  Feel the strength of the fresh wind channeled through the canyon at Buenos Aires Waterfall. See continuously running fresh water at Danta Pool and Waterfall, a natural magnet for wildlife which can often be seen drinking and bathing here. Walk to Aguilar Pool and Waterfall, rich in silicon which covers the river stones in a smooth white layer. The sun’s reflection produces a magical fluorescent blue color that is hard to resist.  Explore the magnificent Jicara Pool and Waterfall, named after a very special tree - Jicaro de Danto. This unique tree is endemic to the Guanacaste and Tilaran mountain ranges and its fruit which looks like giant pickles is loved by tapirs and bats. Take a dip in the warm, curative volcanic waters of Pilon Thermal Pool. These waters are widely known for their healing and nourishing properties for the skin and hair. If weather permits, your guide can take you to the canopy of the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, where on a clear day you can see the Lake of Nicaragua and the majestic Rincón de la Vieja Volcano. Finish your rainforest experience with lunch.
