  • Visit two Jewish Cemeteries
Full description
See more of historical Tallinn beyond the Old Town and discover the rich Jewish history of the city on this 4–hour tour. Start your tour with a visit to the Estonian Jewish Museum, and stroll through a unique exposition which sheds light on the somewhat unknown aspects of the Jewish history of Estonia.

Move on to Beit Bella, the first synagogue built in postwar Estonia. Learn how by 1942, the Nazis had murdered those who remained, and Estonia was the first state declared Judenfrei (Jew free). Although many of the Jewish remnants of the past have few or no markers in the Old Town, don't miss out on the chance to visit the sites of the former prayer room at Kreutzwaldi Street, the Old Cantonists Synagogue, the Great Choral Synagogue, the Magasini Cemetery, and the Rahumae Cemetery, to pay your respects.
