Enjoy a Thai lunch, visit a market, and try local coffee. Following pickup from your hotel in Khao Lak, head to the Takuapa local market (only guests picked up from Khao Lak. Guests from other pick-up locations will not visit the local market) to browse and look at all the products. From there, continue to the elephant rescue camp. Feed these amazing animals some bananas and cool them off with a bath. Next, visit the monkey temple. Eat a Thai-style lunch at the local restaurant next to the river before bamboo rafting along the Khao Sok River. Relax as your guides gently steer the bamboo rafts downstream while you admire the dramatic limestone mountains and serene sounds of the jungle. Stop at the river bank for some trekking and relaxing in the front of a limestone cave after enjoying a coffee break. This coffee is made in a bamboo stick and served in bamboo cups, which you can take home with you. At the end of your tour, transfer back to your hotel in Khao Lak.

Our elephants have been rescued from the riding, show, and logging industries. At The Khao Lak Elephant Sanctuary, they receive exceptional care and respect. Please note that the elephant feeding activities are designed to support their natural behavior, as observed in the wild. We never force the elephants to engage in any activity they are not willing to participate in.

We go for the canoeing trip with the local paddleman, guided by our reptile specialists in Khao Lak. Take a walk on the trail in the night and learn about reptiles and snakes of the area. The place’s so called “Little Amazon Mangrove River”. Headlights provided. Here animals expected to be seen are pythons, rat snake, gold ring cat nake (mangrove snake), sleeping birds, frogs, monitor lizards etc. The canoe trip takes about 1 hour - 1 and half hour. Then we go for easy jungle walking on the trail. Here you can expect to see the world of insects and spider, colugos, civets, slow lorises etc. The trail is approx. 1 k.m. long. the guide helps you to spot them. 22:00-23:00 hrs.
