We landed in Japan in January and tickets to the Grand Sumo Tournament at Ryogoku were sold out, so we decided to give this experience a go and were so glad we did. Great venue, MC provided a good background of sumo history and techniques and the wrestlers who were retired sumo's (at aged 23 and 27!) were certainly entertaining and gave a great show. We were glad we came and were not disappointed.
I learned some English and sumo from the Irish and got to try sumo with Asanoryu.
