Kibera slum is located in Nairobi, about 6.6 kilometres (4.1 miles) from the City Centre. It is the largest slum in Africa, and one of the largest in the world. We are a team of 4 local guides; ERICK, SAMUEL, BENTA and JACK. We were all born, raised and still live here in Kibera Community. We have first-hand insights into the authentic daily life in the Kibera neighborhood. This tour enables our guests to learn more about the local community's way of life and the history of Kibera slum. The income generated from the booking fees, helps us in paying school fees for orphans and vulnerable kids and funding many other social projects here in Kibera slum. We run a social impact tour business called OAC Kenya Tours (www.oackenya.weebly.com). It is a vehicle for positive change. Join us in our journey towards social impact, where every booking you make helps to uplift and support orphans and vulnerable children. 50% of the booking fees from this tour goes back to the community. We also run a non-profit called KCOOP Organization which was founded and registered in 2022. Our organization operates here in Kibera slums and in rural parts of Kenya. ITINERARY FOR THIS EXPERIENCE >This tour takes 3 hours, but we can make it longer or shorter depending on your interest. >The meeting point is inside PRESTIGE PLAZA SHOPPING MALL, Ngong Road. After meeting up, we then take a taxi to the first stop which is our office. This tour has 5 stops as follows; 1. Our Office We will first welcome you to our office here in the slum for more introductions & briefing about the entire experience. The office has free Wi-Fi 2. Home Visit The second stop which is the main stop is home Visit where we will welcome you inside one of the residential houses here in the slum to let you learn more about our way of life like how we get water, electricity, bathroom system, typical house size and so on. 3. Handicrafts Centre You will witness how locals recycle materials to make jewelry and other handmade items. 4. KCOOP Children's Centre We run this Children's Centre and it serves orphans and vulnerable kids. 5. Day 1 You will be picked up from your beach hotel in the early morning hours and depart by road to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing game drive along the way. Upon arrival at Taita Hills Lodge, you will have lunch, relax for a while and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lion and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge or taita hills lodge or similar. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavel sit on stilts over a series of water holes. These two-story towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs connected by open-air-bridges, create an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you will a panoramic view of the sanctuary; offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife. Dinner and overnight at salt lick lodge or taita hills lodge or similar. Day 2: Enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a half day game drive. Around noon you will depart for Mombasa, taking part in a game drive and lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is where your safari will end.

Upon arrival at Taita Hills, at around 11:00 am, you will have your first game drive searching for wildlife in the sanctuary until 1:30 pm when you will go for lunch at the Taita Hills Resort. After lunch, you will go to the Saltlick safari lodge, check in and relax for about 2 hours. In the evening, you will head out for an evening game drive in the sanctuary searching for lions, elephants, ostriches, zebras and other wildlife, until sunset. Thereafter, you will come back to the saltlick safari lodge for dinner and overnight. The Saltlick Safari lodge is memorable for its imaginative structure. You shall arrive in Mombasa/diani at around 3:30 pm and you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is the end of your safari.

Day 1: Mombasa / Diani - Tsavo East You will be picked from your Hotel at 6:30 am in the morning, drive along Mombasa Nairobi highway and arrive at Buchuma gate in Tsavo East at around 10:00 am. Here you will begin your game drive. Visit various places including Aruba Dam (the waterhole built by british Army 1952 during Colonial time.) You will see many elephants, man eating lions, buffaloes, zebras etc. You will continue the game drive upto 1:30 pm when you will go to the lodge (lion hills lodge/voi safari lodge/ngutuni lodge or similar) where you will check in and have lunch. After lunch you relax for 2 hours and then head out for a game drive in the park searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight. Day 2: Tsavo East – Amboseli National Park Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Tsavo east National park. Around 11:00 am you will leave the park and head to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at Amboseli at around 1:00 pm and have lunch at AA lodge or similar. After lunch, you relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the park until sunset. You come back to the AA Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 3: Amboseli National Park - Mombasa/Diani Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Amboseli National Park searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife until 11:00 am when You shall leave the park and start the journey back to Mombasa/Diani. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Diani at around 4:00 pm you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is the end of your safari.

On the first day, you will be picked up from Diani or Mombasa at 06:00 and driven directly to Tsavo East National Park. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see iconic wildlife including the famous red elephants, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, giraffes, and lions. Afterward, you will check in and enjoy lunch at Ngutuni Safari Lodge overlooking the waterhole, then proceed on an afternoon game drive with an opportunity to spot waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuks, and a diverse array of bird species, over 500 recorded types. You will return to Ngutuni Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. On the second day, Begin your day with an early morning sanctuary safari at Ngutuni from 06:30 – 08:30 and have an opportunity to observe animals grazing early in the morning. After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West, where you will enjoy a guided nature walk to the waterhole, with chances to see crocodiles and hippos. Lunch will be served at Voyager Ziwani, after which you will return to Ngutuni for dinner. On the last day, you will start with an early morning game drive from 06:30 to 08:30 within the sanctuary. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out as your safari adventure concludes.

You will see many elephants, man eating lions, buffaloes, zebras etc. You will continue the game drive upto 1:30 pm when you will go to the lodge (lion hills lodge/voi safari lodge/ngutuni lodge/voi wildlife lodge) where you will check in and have lunch. After lunch you relax for 2 hours and then head out for a game drive in the park searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight. Day 2: Tsavo East – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Tsavo east National park. Around 11:00 am you will leave the park and head to Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary. You will arrive at Taita Hills at around 1:00 pm and have lunch at Taita Hills Resort. After lunch you will go to Saltlick Lodge, check in and relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the sanctuary until sunset. You come back to the Saltlick Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 3: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Mombasa/Diani Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife until 11:00 am when You shall leave the sanctuary and start the journey back to Mombasa/Diani. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Diani at around 4:00 pm you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is the end of your safari.

Embark on a 3-Days and 2 Nights Private Safari to Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Park and see the Big Five, including elephants, leopards, and rhinos. Stay in comfortable lodges and enjoy meals in the park. Day 1: Mombasa or Diani - Tsavo East National Park Start your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Mombasa or Diani and head to Tsavo East National Park. Arrive at the Bachuma gate and start your game drive. Look out for the Big Five and other animals like kudu, zebra, waterbuck, and elephants. You will Check-in at your hotel (Voi Safari lodge or similar) some minutes before lunch time, refresh yourself and enjoy your buffet lunch, while viewing some elephants and other animals drinking water at the waterhole. After lunch you will relax till 4:00 pm and then start the evening game drive as you look out for the Red Elephants, which are unique to Tsavo. Spot some of the 500 species of birds that call the park home. The evening game drive will start at exactly 4pm until sundown, then drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Spend the night at the Voi Safari Lodge or the Voi Wildlife Lodge or similar. Day 2: Tsavo East National Park - Tsavo West National Park Start your day with an early breakfast then begin your early morning game drive. Continue with your game drive as you leave Tsavo East National Park heading to Tsavo West. Upon arrival at Tsavo West, you will check in to your lodge (Ngulia Safari Lodge or similar). Relax and enjoy lunch before heading out to the Rhino Sanctuary for an afternoon game drive. Spend the night at the Ngulia Safari Lodge or the Kilaguni Serena Lodge or similar. Day 3: Tsavo West National Park - Mombasa/Diani Start your day with an early breakfast, check out of your hotel and start a morning game drive. Visit the famous Mzima Springs and see the natural springs where fish, crocodiles, and hippos can be observed. proceed with a game drive en route to the gate. Then exit and start the drive to Mombasa/Diani or the airport. You will have a stopover on the way to have your lunch.

Day 1: Nairobi– Tsavo East / West You will be picked up by 05:00 hrs. and drive along the main Mombasa-Nairobi highway through the semi-arid country to the Tsavo East National Park. You will begin looking for animals on entry into the park passing via Aruba Dam and Kendari Swamp where more animals could be found. Lunch will be served at a stop-over restaurant. You will proceed on to Tsavo West National Park and embark on searching for animals on arrival drive to the direction of the rhino Sanctuary whereby if lucky you may see the black rhino. Other animals likely to be seen are leopards, lions, zebra, hyena, buffalo, elephant, hunting dogs among others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge / Camp. Day 2: Tsavo West – Nairobi You will wake up for an early breakfast and depart with a game viewing drive en-route to Mzima Springs for your walking safari tour session. Mzima Spring is the source of the Tsavo River. It’s possible to see the fish, hippos. Crocodiles also can be found within. Lunch will be served at a stopover restaurant outside the park on your way to Mombasa at your cost. Later on, you will depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon drop off at your respective hotel.

After lunch, you relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the park until sunset. You come back to the lodge/camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 3: Tsavo West National Park - Mombasa/Diani Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast then visit the famous mzima springs known for its crystal clear waters, beautiful fish species, crocodiles, salamader and hippos for 1 hour and then continue with the morning game drive in the Tsavo West National Park searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazzelles, Girrafes and other wildlife until 10:00 am when You shall leave the park and start the journey back to Mombasa/Diani. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Diani at around 3:30 pm you will be dropped off at your beach hotel. This is the end of your safari.

You will arrive at Amboseli at around 1:00 pm and have lunch at Sentrim Amboseli lodge/kilima safari camp where you will also check in. After lunch you will relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the game park until sunset. You come back to the Lodge/camp, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 3 Amboseli National Park – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Amboseli National Park. Around 9:00 am you will leave the park and head to Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary. You will arrive at Taita Hills at around 1:00 pm and have lunch at Taita Hills Resort. After lunch you will go to Saltlick Lodge, check in and relax upto 4:00 pm when you shall go for an evening game drive in the sanctuary until sunset. You come back to the Saltlick Lodge, where you will have dinner and spend the night. Day 4 Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary - Mombasa/Diani/Nairobi Wake up and enjoy an early morning breakfast and then depart for a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife sanctuary searching for lions, Ostriches, gnues, Gazelles, Giraffes and other wildlife until 9:00 am when You shall leave the sanctuary and start the journey back to Mombasa/Diani/Nairobi. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Diani/Nairobi at around 3:30 pm you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is the end of your safari
