I printed out the attached voucher that said it was a voucher printed on the paper, and it also had the QR code too. However, the people working at the restaurant said they didn’t recognize it and that it wasn’t the voucher ~ but I showed them where it had “voucher” printed on the paper and they made a call to confirm. Fortunately they honored it, but there was no skipping the line. I guess it’s busy time at 2:30pm on a Monday even. Maybe it stil saved us a few minutes. Anyway, the meal comes as a set course, which is convenient for foreigners like me who can’t read the menu in Chinese. Also, it tastes good. We were satisfied. For those other reviewers who say its good but not worth the higher price compared to other local dimsum places, I think the historical nature of the place, and how famous it is, makes it at least worth a visit for first time visitors so they can compare how much better or not this is. Otherwise, they may be left wondering if they should have tried it.
The food we tasted was amazing. The guide was unbelievably gracious and knowledgable. He not only had us taste some wonderful food, but he patiently answered all our questions, and explained many different aspects of their culture. My wife and I enjoyed the tour so much, that we would take it again the next time we are there.
It was a very good experience to sample foods from establishments that are off the beaten track and not a lot of tourists know about. My wife and I were sad though that we were not able to sample foods from a night market due to light rain but honestly, I do not think we would be able to anyway as we were already full!
the whole experience was great from the Temple visit to the Night Market, the dinner at the 101 Food Court and going to the top of 101. The guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He (Kasi) made the trip special
We arrived with the printed voucher at 11am, did not have to wait at all and was ushered in straight away which was great. We were served a set meal I guess the most popular menus but serving size was pretty small!
