We had a wonderful experience on the hike. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He wanted to share the love he feels for this area. It is a challenging hike. I needed assistance in getting up the ropes, but was encouraged and I am so glad I did it. We did plant identification and also learned traditional uses for the plants. I highly recommend this hike.

Learn all about the flora and fauna that are part of this gorgeous canyon as you hike through the trails with an elevation increase of over 1000 feet. Climb over huge boulders and around pools of water and beautiful waterfalls by the mountainside. Scale steep ridges strewn with crumbling rocks. Excellent rock climbing tour. Our local guide Santos was extremely knowledgeable of the area, helped us in every way possible due to our inexperience in hiking. We climbed 350m above sea level and that was enough for us for a good sweat. Hiking shows will make the experience easier.
