What people are saying about Szentendre

Really had a great time! The tour was split up with one van for an Italian tour and one for English. Our guide (I forgot his name, Adam maybe? He was Romanian) was very knowledgeable. Enjoyed all of the spots, even though the overlook was super foggy and the basilica is under major construction. The lunch was extremely good- I expected so much worse. Make sure you dress warmly in the winter time- the outer locations were much colder and windier than Budapest was. Also, make sure you bring cash for bathroom stops (coins) and for a tip. Some of the vendors in places we stopped were cash only. My only minor complaint is I paid extra for the hotel pickup, not knowing where the tour started (it's at the Intercontinental Hotel). I was at the Marriot next door, and the "pickup" was one of the guides walking me over to the Intercontinental.

Fantastic tour, outstanding driver and guide, extremely knowledgeable friendly and polite. Beautiful locations Visegard and Ezstergom were stunning in the snow, gorgeous views over the danbue. Lunch was delicious and apricot brandy as an appetiser was very welcome on such a snowy days. Plenty time to walk round the cathedral stunning architecture. Szentendre was just so quaint, lovely little shops with beautiful hand made crafts, marzipan museum, retro museum, lots of time to wander at leisure after the tour. Would highly recommend

Very nice our guide, Yolanda. I explain everything perfectly. The town is very pretty and picturesque. We were at the Christmas museum and the marzipan museum where you can find figures, buildings, paintings and many works made of marzipan. Almost everything in the town is shops, but it's worth it.

Our guide was very kind! The town was beautiful and the pottery and hand made work was incredible!

Very informative guide! Thank you for showing this beautiful place.
