Overview
Discover the magic of the Sydney Opera House on a guided tour of the iconic venue and experience an unforgettable performance by the Australian Ballet. Add another dimension to your visit with an optional 3-tiered tasting plate.
What to Expect
Over 60 years ago, Jorn Utzon, a young Danish architect, designed what is now considered one of the greatest buildings of all time. The Sydney Opera House is a work of art that came in existence against impossible odds and went on to become one of the busiest performing arts centers in the world, putting the city on the map forever.

On this 3-hour program, you’ll tour the Sydney Opera House, experiencing the history and magic of the venue as you follow your friendly guide underneath the sails and into the UNESCO World Heritage masterpiece.

The Opera House features 1,000 rooms, 300 corridors, and hundreds of tales and secrets. Step inside the inspired theaters where more than 1,600 performances come to life each year, and get ready for an unforgettable Australian Ballet performance.

Enhance your experience and combine the tour and the performance with a 3-tiered tasting plate at the Opera Kitchen, a gourmet cafe located on the lower level of the opera house plaza. Relax on the patio and soak in spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The 3-tier tasting plate includes dishes such as mini Wagyu beef burgers, sushi, oysters, salmon salad, dumplings and fries. You can buy cocktails, beer, and Australian wine to go with your meal. A tip on timing: Allow at least an hour and a half if you are eating before the performance so you don't feel rushed.
