What to Expect
The Blue Mountains are one of Australia's most spectacular natural sights and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit Olympic Park, the site of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Take a walk through the Eucalypt Forest, where you will hopefully be able to spot local wildlife like kangaroos, then enjoy a view of Wentworth Falls.
Visit the towns of Leura and Katoomba, characterized by their English gardens. At Echo Point, you can contemplate the rock formation “The Three Sisters” from a viewing platform. If you wish, a visit to the Scenic Railway is also possible.
You’ll take an interesting tour through the rainforest and pass by the coal mine. Experience the fabulous view of Jamison and Megalong Valley. Visit the petting zoo at Featherdale Wildlife Park, where the kangaroos and the emus walk free. Have your photo taken while you pet a koala.
This fascinating tour, which you shouldn’t pass up, will end between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m., when you’ll be taken back to your hotel in Sydney.
