Located on the western side of the Blue Mountains National Park, the Jenolan Caves are dated as one of the oldest cave systems in the world. See stalactites and stalagmites inside the Lucas Cave and visit the mysterious Blue Lake.
What to Expect
Travel over the iconic Anzac Bridge and leave the city behind for the day. Visit the famous Three Sisters rock formation, one of the most iconic images in Australia. Enjoy a morning tea break (not included) with views overlooking the Jamison Valley and get up close to the Three Sisters.

You'll feel you've travelled back in time as you pass down a winding mountain road deep into an isolated valley and drive through the cave entrance to arrive at the enchanting hideaway village of Jenolan.

Regarded as Australia’s most outstanding cave system, Jenolan Caves is among the finest and oldest cave systems in the world. A specialized guide will take you underground for an amazing cave tour experience of the Lucas Cave. The Lucas Cave's highest chamber, 'The Cathedral' is 54 metres high and is reputed to have the best acoustics of any performance space in the world. Make sure to check out the mysterious Blue Lake before leaving.

Depart Jenolan and travel through the bushland to a clearing where wild kangaroos and wallabies graze quietly within camera range. This unique opportunity is one not to be missed, but remember these are wild animals and their sighting is unpredictable.

Return to Sydney with one last stop at Govetts Leap, one of the most awesome lookouts in the Blue Mountains with views looking into the Grose Valley.
