We were able to see a lot of bats up close! A unique part of the trip my was that Dave had great cameras we could use with zoom lenses and then download the pictures we took to our photos. I highly recommend this fantastic trip. We loved it!

Dave is a really enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide and gave a great deal of information concerning the flying foxes and other wildlife encountered. Transport to and from the bat camp was comfortable and allowed time to get to talk with fellow bat watchers. All in all 2-3 hours well spent and well worth the money.

This tour Is during the Day, but the Flying Foxes are very active, climbing, fighting and you'll even see them in flight, with their massive 3 foot wingspan. Close? yep can get within 10ft. Enjoy meeting these Ozzie critters almost at eye-level. You'll also have the opportunity to use our high-zoom cameras and capture the smallest detail on film. These photos will be shared with you at no charge after the trip. Your tour guide will drop you off at the same location as the pick-up near Circular Quay and nearby public transport.

Of course, the flying fox camp was amazing. Our guide went out of his way to make it an enjoyable experience even driving through a special block where the jacaranda were blooming.
