Full description

Join a guided day trip from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. Gaze at the rainforest in Scenic World, see the iconic Three Sisters from Echo Point, savor a lunch, meet animals native to Australia at Featherdale Wildlife Park, and enjoy a cruise back to Sydney.

Begin the tour with pickup at select hotels in Syndey, then set off on your adventure. Arrive at Scenic World amusement park in the Blue Mountains. Ride the Scenic Railway, Skyway, and Cableway. Skip the queues and head straight to the rides.

Take a stroll on a boardwalk through the rainforest and hear all about its ecosystem. Then, follow your guide to a cliff lookout and soak in panoramic views of the Jamison Valley, with its pink sandstone cliffs and eucalyptus-bound forests.

Next, walk down the road to Echo Point and admire sweeping views of the Three Sisters rock formation from the lookout. Learn about its cultural significance from your guide. Then, enjoy some time on your own to wander around and take photos.

After working up an appetite, tuck into lunch at a bistro-style pub in the heart of the Blue Mountains. After your meal, continue to Featherdale Wildlife Park to spend some time close to some of Australia's natives. Get a hands-on experience with native animals, including hand-feeding a kangaroo.

After spending the day connecting with nature in the World Heritage-listed area of the Blue Mountains, Take a ferry back to Sydney along the Parramatta River. Glide past landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, ending the trip at Circular Quay.

Amazing tour, our host Bob made everyone feel at ease, gave us lots of info and made the day thoroughly enjoyable. Such a great guide he even remembered everyone’s names and took pictures for people too. The tour includes everything you need to see in the area and isn’t rushed even though it covers quite a few sights.

We had a great tour today, even though the rain fell for most of the day. This resulted in some of the views were blanked out by the low cloud. Our guide Kanal was great, he made us all so welcome, he was very informative and knowledgeable right through the whole day..if we ever get back to Australia , I surely will look at doing this tour again, making sure the weather will be dry

This excursion is EXTRAORDINARY!! As mentioned by prior reviews, this small, local tour company thoughtfully and knowledgeably plans the itinerary such that visitors have a chance to visit each of these stunning places (the beauty is awesome!) at the most optimal time with the smallest possible crowds. It was very much an insider experience! The choice to visit the Featherdale wildlife park as the last stop made for a magical experience as there were few other visitors and the carers were feeding the animals so they were very active! Having the chance to interact with these incredible Australian animals was amazing! And our guide Robert was such a GEM!!!!! We felt completely spoiled to spend the day with him! He was so knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind and funny! Our entire family agrees that this day trip with the highlight of our fantastic Sydney experience!
