The day tour with German-speaking guide Adel is highly recommended. As a trained Egyptologist, he is extremely knowledgeable and took plenty of time to explain things and provide historical context. It was a wonderful day trip with unforgettable experiences and impressions. Adel was always helpful and courteous, so that we felt we were in good hands at all times. The entire tour was very well planned and, upon request, even spontaneous changes were possible. I can really recommend this intensive but informative tour to anyone who wants to better understand and get to know this great civilization.

Full description

At 7:00 am Tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer by Private A/C Vehicle to Edfu around 50 minutes drive south of Luxor. arrival in Edfu where you can visit the majestic Temple of Edfu that dedicated to Horus which is considered by most to be the best preserved cult temple in Egypt.
According to the Egyptian myths, it was the place where the falcon-headed god Horus revenged the murder of his father Osiris by killing Seth.

Then Continue Your day tour to Kom Ombo around 45 minutes drive from Eduf Arrival Kom Ombo transfer to see the Temple of Kom Ombo standing on high grounds overlooking The Nile.

It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, each one is dedicated to divinity: "Haroeris" with his falcon head and" Sobek" with his crocodile head. The Temple of Kom Ombo was built on the honor of two deities, the crocodile-headed Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris or the ancient falcon-headed Horus. Also, Kom Ombo's importance lies in its huge sugar-cane.

Then around transfer back to your hotel in Luxor. A private knowledgeable guide will accompany you the whole Tour until returning to Luxor.

What an incredible day exploring two of Egypt's most fascinating temples! This tour from Luxor to Kom Ombo and Edfu was absolutely worth every moment of the journey. Our driver Ahmed deserves special recognition for his exceptional driving skills. Despite the long distance, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. His smooth, careful driving made the journey pleasant and stress-free, which really enhanced the overall experience. The true star of this tour was our guide Bahgat. His extensive knowledge of ancient Egyptian history and temple architecture was truly impressive.
