Best boat trip any of us have ever been on - knowledgeable and entertaining guide, great animal experiences (very friendly seals and pelicans), lovely tasting oysters, plenty to drink (sherry, beer and champagne as well as soft drinks and water) and much more food than we were expecting with essentially a buffet. On the food front, hardly anything for the vegetarian in our group to eat but considering we were only expecting snacks and weren’t asked about dietary requirements, certainly not a complaint. Also worth noting always a chance of occasional outdated misogynistic jokes, which unfortunately still appears to be common in Namibia. Overall though those minor points don’t detract from an excellent experience that is recommended to anyone visiting the area.

This was incredible. Billy the guide was awesome and very informative. We had a baby seal come aboard and pelicans feeding. In addition to all the info on the bay we were provided with a terrific spread of food and drink, the atmosphere was brilliant. We were even provided with blankets. The best experience we had.

Loved this tour. Pelicans and seals jumped on the boat. We saw seals, dolphins and even a whale. Crew was friendly and shared a lot of information on the tour. The tour ended with a delicious meal and sparkling wine. Wonderful day out. On a cold day it can get a bit chilly so just take some warm clothes with.
