See the creatures of the desert on a quad bike tour. Led by an expert guide and trekker, head into the Namib Desert to spot the "Little Five." Find the Namaqua Chameleon, Shovel Snouted Lizard, Web Footed Gecko, Sidewinder Puff Adder and the Wheel Spider. After the engines are revved up and ready to roll, an experienced guide will lead you through the Swakopmund River mouth into the dune belt. Feel the freedom of riding through one of nature's great wildernesses.

Your guide will educate you on all the living creatures in the desert and how they manage to survive such harsh environments. Be amazed at how these creatures adapt to the conditions and the tricks they use to keep themselves fed and watered.

Meet at the Desert Explorers Adventure Centre, Nathaniel Maxuilili, Swakopmund, Namibia. Accessible via a sedan vehicle. Parking space available. Departure times are flexible: Please email the tour provider at info@namibiadesertexplorers.com with your preferred time slot. Slots are available from Monday to Friday: 8 AM - 10 AM, and Sundays: 9 AM - 11 AM. Early times are preferred to increase the chance of seeing the little animals.

Mega! Mit den Quads durch die Dünen zu fahren, war schon klasse. Aber dann noch 4/5 der Little Five zu sehen (das Wüstenchamäleon hatte an dem Tag leider keine Lust, sicherzustellen zeigen), war einfach nur genial. Die beiden Guides waren kompetent und super freundlich!

Super kurzweiliges Erlebnis für die ganze Familie. Man muss damit rechnen, dass man nicht jeden Tag optimale Bedingungen für die Tierbeobachtungen hat. Bei uns war der Sandsturm sehr stark und wir mussten (durften) mehr Quad fahren, als eigentlich geplant.

Wir hatten eine richtig tolle Tour mit unserem Guide Ali. Er hat sich viel Zeit genommen um uns die Little 5 zu zeigen und wir hatten sogar das Glück 3 davon zu finden, darunter auch das Chamäleon 😊 Die Quads waren in einem sehr guten Zustand und wir hatten super viel Spaß über die Dünen zu fahren. Ali hat uns unfassbar viel zu den Tieren erklärt und es war wirklich mega interessant. Die Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir nur zu zweit waren. Danke für die tolle Tour und besonderen Dank an unseren Guide Ali.
