Full description
Situated 200 kilometers above the Polar Circle, the Lofoten Islands archipelago offers the perfect location to take unforgettable photos of the Arctic lights. Inhabited since the Viking age, these islands offer steep peaks rising directly from the sea, white sand beaches and a sea so blue that it is hard to believe that you are in the Arctic. During this tour you will visit the Atlantic side of the archipelago—the wild side—where nature shows its purest and untamed form. The fantastic fishing villages of Kabelvåg and Henningsvær remind visitors of a glorious past while Henningsvær captivates with picturesque architecture. In Kabelvåg the well-preserved buildings from the Middles Ages tell the story of local culture and agriculture—all these historical sites will capture your photographic eye and your imagination. An English-speaking guide will lead the tour over seven hours, weather permitting, to give you all the time and light necessary to take home amazing photos of the archipelago's enchanting hidden corners.

It is a spectacular experience, they do not give the eyes to capture so much wonder. The tour was pleasant, the attention of the guide Andrea of the Company Lofoten Lights. They are of those unique experiences in life. I recommend Reine with its landscapes, all the way to see the mountains reflecting in the water, the wonderful sunset, mixing among the clouds, the sun of a very intense orange color. The houses contrasting with the landscape. Everything is PEACE

The beautiful excursion although it was a risk on our part to travel in December since the weather conditions quite condition the activities. In any case, it is a unique experience to see how they can live with so few hours of light in the polar winter.
