From Svolvaer: Sea Eagle Safari to Trollfjord

I reserved this activity last minute because I was looking for a way to get into a fjord and the other options were booked or unavailable. I was pleasantly surprised by this activity and how much I enjoyed it. They give you a suit, gloves and goggles to wear, but I would highly recommend bringing a hat and scarf (I went at the beginning of April) as it can get quite cold on the boat. The guide was awesome, sharing interesting information when we stopped. He was willing and able to answer all my questions, and he was fun. I didn't actually care about seeing the sea eagles, but when we stopped the guide would throw fish into the water to get them closer and it was actually very impressive, especially watching them pick up the fish. I'd definitely recommend this activity, but make sure your body is covered. Also be aware that the speedboat goes fast and there are times when you are BOUNCING. I found it fun, but it could be tough on your neck, back, and/or netherregions.

Great excursion and perfect length. The birds get right up to the boats, so you are able to take national geographic level action shots of them. Outer suits, gloves, caps, and goggles are provided. Normally I can be prone to sea-sickness but didn't experience any of that - granted I did take a Dramamine pill prior to be cautious. Overall, well worth it! Knowledgeable guides and absolutely drop dead gorgeous views of the Trollfjord.
