The sight was truly sensational, breathtaking. The beautiful colors of the sunrise over the volcanoes start the program, so that after climbing up to the edge of the Bromo crater, we can look down into the constantly smoking, growling horn. It's a bit tiring due to the night departure, but it's definitely worth taking part in this half-day tour. Aditama was a great leader!

Diki was a great driver, Lintang was a great guide, and both were pleasant company. Sorry I can’t remember the Jeep driver’s name but he was great too :).

Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Surabaya. Head to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, where you will be able to see the sunrise from King Kong Hill. Enjoy a coffee or tea as you wait for the sun to rise.

Continue to the next stop, the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Take a 4WD Jeep to the top of Mt. Penanjakan, the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of the most popular Bromo’s Sunrise and the landscape views of Mt. Batok along with the highest mountain in East Java, Mt. Semeru.

After witnessing the golden sunrise, move to the next ‘dish’ which is the Bromo volcano itself. By driving down the hill, pass the vast sea of sand, from the eruption of Mt. Bromo. In a 30-minute trek, get all the way to the tip of the crater and witness the trembling sound from the ‘underworld’ inside the volcano.
