Very interesting visit to this island - fortress opposite Helsinki. The guide tells anecdotes and the history of this place, linked to that of the country, without going into too much detail! The return crossing is pleasant and you can enjoy the island as much as you want after the visit, since there are regular shuttles and you can choose the return time that suits you. We just need to be more precise about the starting point: the boat we were supposed to take left from the indicated departure point for the zoo and not under the indicated FRS flag (another boat), we almost missed the 1 p.m. shuttle...

The city card is very convenient and I believe is fair priced if you can fully commit the entire day. I visited Suomenlinna, and did the panorama tour. If it were summer, I would've done the sightseeing too. Inclusion of the bus pass also meant that I was able to reduce my overhead costs. City passes can be really demanding if you want to meet the threshold for ROI so I advise that you purchase this if you're sure that you have the energy to be active the entire day.

This map allowed us to discover many sites and museums in the city. The possibility of taking public transport at will is a plus! The terms of access to this card are simple and effective

It’s is a good value for money card, I only wish I could have seen the beautiful canal tour but the water level was low according to the tour organisers… had a great time overall

Excellent, wonderful weather for the time of year, easy use of the Helsinki Card, extremely friendly and helpful English speaking people. The card is worth the price.
