We were picked up on time by our guide at the agreed meeting point. Our transport was a small van and our group consisted of 8 people in total. The journey was very pleasant and relaxed despite the length. Our guide told us lots of interesting facts about Sofia and the countryside we were driving through. Everything was in English, but easy to understand. We made two stops. The toilets there were free and very good. In Skopje, we were taken over by another guide. We went on a two-hour city tour with him. This was also in English and very easy to understand. The guide was super nice, took an interest in us, and was available to answer questions. He really tried hard to make everything understandable and interesting. After that, we had two hours of free time. The return trip was also very good. The guide was very interested, took care of everything at the borders, and kept asking if everything was okay.

Our Bulgarian guide/driver was excellent. He was full of knowledge and made the long journey fun and enjoyable. Our guide in Macedonia was great too. She talked to us about the history of the country, and answered all the questions asked. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone who wishes to spend a day outside Bulgaria.

The city of Skopje is very charming and compact, so we were able to enjoy a very fulfilling day trip. In particular, the overall time allocation, including free time, was excellent.
