I went at 6pm on a Sunday and booked the fast pass ticket. Best decision ever!! The line was reeeeaaaally long so it saved us so much time! Totally worth it! The views were amazing and definitely recommend having some food at Classica Sunset club while watching the sun go down.

Full description

Discover the world-famous Sugarloaf Mountain with prebooked official tickets for the cable car, and explore one of Brazil's most popular attractions. Admire stunning views of Rio de Janeiro as you ride the cable car to the summit. Take incredible photos from the lookout point as you enjoy the panorama of the city and the ocean below. Make your own way to the foot of Sugarloaf Mountain, and head directly to the ticket office to exchange your printed voucher. Board the next cable car up the mountain, riding in the fully-enclosed cabin as you take in panoramic views of the city, Copacabana Beach, and Guanabara Bay.  Disembark at the top, where you can spend as much time as you wish. There is a food court and restaurant at the summit where you can purchase snacks and drinks. Once you have finished exploring the summit, your ticket is valid for any returning cable car.

  • Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before the event. If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, the full amount will be retained. No refunds will be given for cancellations after the event date or if the experience has started. Cancellation requests are faster through the email you receive your voucher from the activity provider. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed via Get Your Guide. The experience cannot be rescheduled within 24 hours. No refunds for unused services once the experience has started

  • A valid passport or ID is required for access
  • Cable cars depart every 20 minutes or when full (65 people). It takes 3 minutes to reach Morro da Urca, and 3 more minutes to reach the summit

Paid extra for the fast pass, but early in the morning, it was completely unnecessary and a waste of money as the lines were next to nothing. it might be better later in the day or during busier seasons.
