Stuttgart: Wine & Tapas Boat Tour on the Neckar

Great boat "Flunder" with shade, benches, and tables for six people, but better suited for four. There were seven of us and we were informed that it would be cramped, but without knowing the layout of the tables, it was difficult to decide. Four people was too cramped. The wine was excellent—two glasses for everyone—but they ran out. So not everyone got 2 full glasses, but we were given 1 glass of sparkling wine or 1 beer as a replacement, which was perfectly fine. The tapas were really great—delicious vegetables (eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, peppers), sweet/sour/spicy sauce, remoulade-style sauce, crackling, cheese cubes, red spread, and bread. You could also order more. Two small glasses with tomato, cucumber, olive, and rice salad—very delicious. The atmosphere was great, the views were fantastic, and the trip to Wilhelma and back was wonderful. The service was very friendly, and we left a tip, which not everyone did. After about 1.5 hours, we were able to disembark. We were lucky to have a day with bright sunshine!
