Very enjoyable, managed to see 4 of the 5 houses. Unfortunately the Mary Arden farm is only really accessible if you are driving. All the houses were very interesting & the staff explained the history very well. Try to avoid times when school parties are visiting!! Would definately recommend

Excellent and must must visit for history, literature, and especially Shakespeare fans. The place is so well managed and the volunteers and guides share some amazing insights. Loved the 20-minute scenes from Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet put up by the Events from History team. I wish I had a longer stay so I could have covered Anne Hathaway's Cottage too. But Shakespeare's Birthplace and New Place experience felt almost like a pilgrimage. Couldn't be happier! Kudos to the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust for making this a truly memorable experience.

Staff were fantastic, particularly at birthplace as they were great at controlling how many people were in certain rooms to avoid overcrowding. On a busy and particularly hot day, this was very appreciated, as it meant we had enough space to enjoy each room. Staff even told us some facts in different rooms too which was a nice touch. The gardens are beautiful as well, and it's a lovely touch having live short performances every 20 minutes in the gardens. Staff were a little less helpful and less approachable at New place, but nonetheless still a good experience. Didn't manage to do Anne hathaways house in the end.
