Travel to all the Shakespearean Houses: Shakespeare's Birthplace, Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Mary Arden's House, New Place, Nash's House, and Hall's Croft. The Royal Shakespeare Theatre where the Bard's plays are performed for the majority of the year. The Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare is buried, protected by a cursed tombstone. The tour is excellent , with lots of interesting information on Shakespeare and his times. Stratford is a really lovely town. I did the tour twice , using the second time to hop off at the Shakespeare houses. The buses were only every hour on 14/15 Sept but it was easy enough to time them and fill the gaps.

Busses were not running as often on the day we chose so this meant we had a long wait for the bus and meant we didn't have time to get off and hop back on again as we were worried about catching the last bus. We only started the tour in the afternoon so in hindsight had we known the busses were running less frequently in advance we would have started the tour in the morning. The bus did seem quite dirty upstairs with a lot of other passengers ear phones left and rubbish. We got on the bus directly after the drivers lunch break.

Really enjoyed the bus ride around Stratford Upon Avon, plenty to see and the information that you got about Stratford and Shakespeare was really good. The timetable should be updated around Stratford as the buses are running on the hour at the moment and not every twenty minutes like the timetables say. I'm not sure why this information can't be provided online.
