Full description
Head south. Departing from Strasbourg, the first stop will be in Bergheim, a superb village on the wine route that contains many hidden wonders within its medieval walls. You will then have the opportunity to visit the charming town of Ribeauvillé, the ancient fief of the Lords of Ribeaupierre. History will call out to you on every one of its pedestrian streets.  After a visit to Hunawihr and a photo stop in front of its famous fountain, enjoy lunch in the village of Riquewihr, one of the best known in the region —  particularly renowned because of its idyllic location in the heart of the vineyard. The tour will continue to two villages that are equally famous for their historical character: Kaysersberg and Eguisheim. Wine-lovers especially will appreciate the next stop at the famous Belvédère Cattin, where you can take in a stunning panoramic view of the Alsace Plain with the Black Forest in the distance. At this stop, you can also check out an art gallery and buy some Alsace wine, if you wish. Head back to Strasbourg at the end of the afternoon, after a day filled with great memories and beautiful images.

Overall the tour covered similar village styles and the trip is too long timewise. The information given via audio system was detailed and helpful. However there was no water available. For a tour of 100 Euro per person , do believe a bottle of free water would be appreciated by the customers. Small thing but big impact.

The tour is wonderful and you get to drive through and visit multiple small villages along the Alsace wine route. The audio guide is fantastic and our driver was very kind and professional. My only complaint is that I wish I had been notified a little more in advance that my chosen date was canceled due to being the only one to book a tour. I had to do some fast rearrangements of my trip and lost money on my original plans because of it (this is more advice for future bookings as I also understand that pandemic conditions aren't great for anybody and I feel lucky I was able to take a vacation in the first place). Other than that, I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys full-day sight-seeing tours in an astonishingly beautiful location. The price is worth it and the pace is perfect.

Definitely worth taking a day to do it! You get a thorough overview on the entire Alsace region, spend a a good amount of time in each town and get a history of the towns you drive through. The driver was friendly and really lovely! Don’t worry about any other tour. This will give you everything you need to learn about the region and see each town.
