Full description

Meet your guide a point that is easily accessible from the Stockholm metro. Start with and informational briefing and about how the evening is going to proceed. Depart in a comfortable minibus and relax on the drive into the woods.

Start off with a hearty campfire dinner. Savor your food as your guide tells you about identifying and spotting woodland creatures like deer, wild boars, hares, and several species of birds. Head down the trail looking for tracks and signs of the animals. Breathe in the fresh air and stretch your legs in a natural setting.

After the walk, hop back into the van to increase your chances of seeing wildlife by covering a larger area and visiting several hotspots. Increase your chances of wildlife spotting with a guide that keeps track of the animals and how they move around throughout the season.

We did not see any moose but a lot of deer and rabbits. The provided food was delicious and they really went to town for the vegan option with all the choices. 5 Stars from me - our Guide really tried to find moose until it was too dark and did everything he could. If you get carsick easily try to sit further in the front - you take a lot of turns and in the back it is a bit rough. If you don't see wild moose but really want to see some I can recommend going to Skansen Museum. They have some there but ofc it ia not the same as live. Consider it more like a backup plan.

At the meeting point, each other was introduced. Then we went to the 1st stop where we had a barbecue. Then for the second stop we watched the sunset. very beautiful ! Then we left several dirt roads and saw deer and a rabbit. Unfortunately we are not so lucky with the elks. We saw 2 pieces for a very, very short time. Unfortunately none after that. We were dropped off at the train station at around 9:30 p.m.

Warm August day, perfect for being outside. Loved that I could see woods and animals in their natural habitat. I saw moose, wild boars with young, lot of deer...loved that they said in front they couldn't promise anything. Two things spoiled the experience but not their fault -traffic jams, it took us ages to get there and no camp fire due to being fire season. Would be better experience with camp fire.
