Enter the magic world of Junibacken, a fairytale house on Djurgården in central Stockholm, where children's books come to life through theatre, playful exhibitions, and a magical Story Train. Savor yummy pancakes and explore Sweden's most well-stocked children's bookstore.

Includes

  • The admission fee includes entry to Junibacken as well as a ride on The Story Train and entrance to all of the exhibitions. Theatre shows are included in the price but need to pre-booked separately.

Meeting point

Junibacken is located at Djurgården in Stockholm, by the water behind the Nordiska Museet and next to the Vasamuseet. The easiest way to get here is by public transport, but there are places to park in the vicinity as well. Our street address is Galärvarvsvägen 8.

Really good fun, only down side was that it was really busy, we have a two year old that understands queueing but older children just constantly pushed in-front of her or past her with no input from other parents. We didn’t eat at the line for food was crazy but an hour and a half was plenty for our daughter to have a great time. Not sure about the story train with themes of death and suicide but our daughter was young enough to not really understand. Playgrounds were great though.
