Full description
Make your visit to Vasa on Djurgården easier by buying your ticket in advance. See 11 exhibits and find out why the the ship sank in Stockholm's harbor on its maiden voyage before it ever went to war. Show your admission ticket at the ticket counter. Start your visit by watching the documentary to learn more about the ship. Then walk at your own pace through various exhibitions with original objects placed around the ship. You can view the Vasa from 6 different floors. There are daily guided tours around the ship and there is an audio guide in several languages. Lunch, coffee, sandwiches and pastries are served in the Vasa Museum's restaurant. On the way out you will find the museum shop. Souvenirs, literature and copies of objects found on board are sold here.

Sublime, une prouesse technique et scientifique à couper le souffle, je conseille vivement cette visite. Très didactique pour les enfants aussi, une visite durant laquelle on apprend plein de chose. Audio guide en français, en se connectant avec son téléphone, ne pas oublier de prendre ses écouteurs ou casque pour cela.

C'est une chance de pouvoir admirer l'épave gigantesque de ce bateau. Il est très bien mis en valeur et les différentes salles, expositions et films permettent de comprendre son histoire et de découvrir comment il a été remonté à la surface. Il est essentiel de comprendre l'anglais ou le suédois.

Everyone from toddlers to adults enjoyed it. The film about the story was great, you learned everything important in 17 minutes, and it is shown in many languages. We were in the museum for a very long time! They also had a puzzle rally, unfortunately only in Swedish, but the lady at the information desk even translated a search for us into German! All in all: really great!
