Built under the orders of King Charles XIV in 1825, the royal canal leaves behind the inner city from Nybrokajen, passing beautiful buildings en route to the peaceful canal.

Know Before You Go
On board, you will find W.C.s and a cafeteria, as well as crayons and paper for the kids.
Dogs/cats may be taken on the front or back deck on a leash. Other decks are off limits. They are not permitted in the dining salon or cafeteria or on-board sightseeing boats or coaches. The leash requirement also applies at Birka and Drottningholm.
