What People Are Saying About Stockholm
Would definitely recommend. Made a snowy weekend in Stockholm even more festive!
The tour was delightfully multi-sensory. We learned about traditions and their basis, tasted warm spiced wine and cookies, and saw Swedish artifacts, ancient and modern. The tour culminated with a young St. Lucia singing the traditional Christmas song. Truly enchanting!
Very good activity, saw and learned things we would not have otherwise found ourselves.Good value for money.Guide was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to.Covered a good area of the old town without walking too far.Stop for Glog etc was a good little break, and warmed us up for the rest of the walk.
We had a great tour through the cold lanes of Stockholm's Gamla Stan. Renata told us many historic details and showed many places we wouldn't have found on our own, e. g. the rune stone as a part of a building. The oldest coffeehouse, the closest lane, the story of the marriages of the Royals - we learned a lot of the life and living in Stockholm. Even the beautiful atmosphere of Gamla Stan a few weeks before christmas helped to enjoy the tour. With the recommendation of Renata we found good Restaurants for dinner (thanks for the hint to make a reservation!) and the so called 'Living Christmas Calendar'. With Renata we had a wonderful and very special Guide!
