With the freedom to paddle and camp wherever you want, providing that you respect and protect the wilderness, you're sure to get a great sense of freedom. You’ll be given information on the rules and practices in regards to setting up camp, rubbish disposal, bird reserves, open fires etc. This kayak package includes everything you need for your kayaking holidays including fully-equipped sea kayaks and quality camping gear. You choose the date of the trip and the local partner will provide everything you need to enjoy an unforgettable adventure. Discuss together and plan the best route for your journey. From there, the adventure is all yours.  You will start your kayaking adventure from Vaxholm, which is one of the most popular islands in Sweden, and often referred to as the 'Capital of the Archipelagos.' There are more than 30,000 islands, islets, and skerries, and most of them are totally remote. Take advantage of the opportunity to see one of the highlights of the area from the sea, the old but well-preserved, Vaxholm fortress. The area offers a rich variety of wildlife, including beavers, badgers, seals and a large number of birds. Among others many different types of ducks, geese, gulls as well as ospreys, sea eagles and oystercatchers. So take this opportunity to explore this fascinating area, try wilderness cooking, go fishing, swimming, and sunbathing.
