We saw a lot in only three days. Yes, there is a lot of bus riding, but I'm not sure what those complaining were expecting. It was during COVID restrictions, and the company was clear about expectations and provided a safe environment on the bus. Now, the bus was generally good. The minibus that had enough space and reclining seats. But on day two the bus was making so much noise it was rather annoying, and on the third day, it was borderline unbearable. Your guide was John, and he's a guide you'll hate loving. He's good with history as I was fact checking him. He was funny, accommodating and was going out of his way to grant some requests.
The tour overall was great but we did find the extra we needed to pay for ended up in an expansive day. Would be awesome it the tour could organise entry (maybe even discounted) at the different stops. I’m addition, We didn’t have enough time at Sterling Castle to see it all. We also found finding a lunch spot hard. All the cafe/pubs in the Callander were busy or not serving food. Struggled to find anything I. The time.
Great day trip. Loved every minute. I did 4 trips with Rabbies over a two week visit to Edinburgh and Inverness and had no complaints. Lovely, knowledgeable and eager to please guides. Highly recommend Rabbies. Thanks Rabbies, love you work. From female solo traveller. March 2020
Michael was a wonderful tour guide. He made seeing the Isle of Skye and all locations before and after Skye exceptional. I would highly recommend this small tour group.
Our tour guide( keith and hanna) were fabulous. Keith introduced a lot about scotland history and castles. We enjoyed it.
