Garibaldi Park/ Panorama Ridge/ Hiking Day Trip

If you need a different pick up location and drop off, i can arrange something no problem! As your guide, I'll take you on an unforgettable journey to Panorama Ridge, a must-do hike before you leave Vancouver, BC. Our adventure begins at the Rubble Creek parking lot, where we'll start on a well-maintained trail that winds through a dense forest of Douglas firs and red cedars. The first few kilometers are a steady ascent with switchbacks, but the ever-changing views keep you captivated. As we continue, you'll see glimpses of Barrier Lake and Lesser Garibaldi Lake, their blue waters teasing what's to come. We pass through meadows bursting with wildflowers in the summer months, where you might spot wildlife like marmots and deer. The trail offers a variety of perspectives, from lush forests to open ridges, ensuring you never get bored. As we climb higher, the trees thin out, and the expansive views of Garibaldi Lake and the surrounding mountains come into sight. The lake's vibrant turquoise water is so stunning that it feels like you are in heaven. We'll traverse rocky paths and cross bubbling streams, adding to the adventure. Reaching Panorama Ridge, you'll be rewarded with sweeping views of Garibaldi Lake, with its surreal blue hue, framed by snow-capped peaks and glaciers. This challenging hike provides opportunities for breathtaking photography and moments of awe as you take in the spectacular scenery. We'll enjoy a well-deserved picnic lunch here, soaking in the beauty and tranquility of the alpine environment. The return journey follows the same path, offering different perspectives and the chance to appreciate the landscape anew. This hike is challenging, but the reward of experiencing such unparalleled natural beauty makes every step worthwhile.

This was a great activity. Melissa is a complete and total hiking pro and she took such good care of me. She really is a rock star when it comes to hiking. She was patient with my pace and knew how to maneuver through and really paid attention to the small details which made this activate so exciting fun and memorable. She has tremendous knowledge of the place and intuition and most importantly she made the otherwise difficult hike really fun and enjoyable. Melissa you are a fantastic guide! I would highly recommend people who want to hike this trail to go through Melissa because she will make this an exciting and once in a lifetime experience!

We were iffy about it at first but then soon got used to the invisible guide. It was more funny and entertaining and also informative. And we all enjoyed the trivia. Sometimes after some silence we would get startled by the voice or even a song. The only time hung that I didn’t love was that in the beginning when I would try to follow google maps and listen to navigation, the voice would talk over the directions. I think it would have been better to just incorporate all the navigation within the app rather than link to google maps.

A few glitches and sometimes commentary a little after the event, but overall great information, and we were enticed to check out the Copper mine museum, which was fantastic.
