Full description
Your tour will begin as you are picked up at 7:15AM from the location chosen whilst booking. Note that your drop off location, upon return, will be the same as the pickup location.
You will begin with a drive from Stavanger to Eagle’s Nest, which is the trailhead for this hike. The journey is close to 2.5 hours, and is certainly not without its charm. Once having arrived, the trail will take you through beautiful mountainous terrain with changing landscape and impressive views of the area.
Having reached the Kjerag plateau after 2 to 3 hours, you will spend time enjoying the views of the nearby nature and will have plenty of time to take photos. Some may be courageous enough to climb onto the bolt, and if you are lucky, you may be able to observe BASE jumpers diving from cliffs and down to Lysefjorden. This is also the ideal location to enjoy lunch, for those who have brought their own packed food. Your day will later conclude with your expected arrival to Stavanger at around 6:00PM.

Know before you go
- Hikers should be prepared with clothes and shoes accordingly to the weather forecast
- Hiking boots are strongly encouraged, or approach shoes, at the very least (other suggestions include warm, windproof and waterproof clothing)
- Bring some water with you to keep hydrated, preferably in a container that you can refill along the trail
- Lunch will not be provided, but it is suggested that you bring your own food
- Each hiker is responsible for carrying their own gear, so a suitable backpack is recommended
