What People Are Saying About St. Petersburg
We absolutely loved our 4-hour walking tour of the Hermitage Museum. Our guide Elena was so knowledgeable and steered us carefully through the absolutely gigantic maze of rooms. She brought everything to life and we really felt like we had a better undratanding of not only the Winter Palace buildings and the artefacts in the Hermitage but also Russian history as a whole. Book it, you won't regret it - it was the highlight of our visit.
Soon after booking my guide Ksenia was in email contact with me arranging our meeting place end time. She was was organized and knowledge and was a great way to get an over view if St. Petersburg and the history of the Winter Palace end the Czars. She began the tour walking to the musiem and explaining the history of the city. Once inside the muesim which with out a knowlegible guide is so large you would mot be able to see the most iimportant master pieces in a reasonable amount of time. The collection and the crowed so large you would spend more time in lines and looking at minor works. It is well worth your time and money to maximize your time in the Hermitage and have a good experience in St. Petersburg.
