Learn about the writer's years spent exiled in Siberia, and of the dramatic spell which inspired one of his earliest works, Notes from the House of the Dead. You'll visit Haymarket Square, the setting of Crime and Punishment, perhaps the novel that he is most famous for. See the old houses that still fit his descriptions against the backdrop of the city's sights. Hear the stories of Dostoyevsky's heroes and how his own life interwove with those of his characters.
