Amazing. Alessandra explained so much and was able to answer any questions.
Our guide did a fantastic job of talking while we were waiting in line to go through security and at other times when we needed to hear the history. I did not climb to the top of the dome, but my son did to the outside top. He said the views were spectacular. I managed to climb the first set of steps so that we were inside the dome but not quite at the top. The views down below of St. Peter's was awesome because the people seemed so small so that gave one the impression of how BIG the church really is. Good tour; I did think the price was a bit high, but it is the Church. :)
