There was a good deal of history, but the bang for your buck was off the charts. Booked it 12-2pm knowing that it would be our lunch, didn't cost much more than figuring lunch out on our own, food was excellent, history was good, guide was good, done a lot of trips in New York, some more memorable, but I would call it the best value I've had for sure, we linked it with the Catacombs tour in the same area right after, and they paired together perfect. I'm taking a niece to New York next year for 4 days and doing tours and what not as a graduation present, the tour I wish was available in this area would follow the immigration of the neigborhood, a morning tour focusing on the Irish, an noon/afternoon lunch tour focusing on the Itialan heritage, and a late afternoon early evening tour focuing on China town...I would pay good money for that one and wouldn't have to take subway or taxi connections between any of them
This was a really good tour. Be prepared to walk. The tour meeting place is at #8 Mullberry, across the street from the construction. If you want water or want to try italian coffee, you can purchase at the cannoli shop at #8 while waiting for the tour to begin. Enjoy.
My kids and I had a lovely time tasting the delicious food and exploring that part of NYC that we didn’t know. It’s history and culture are fascinating. The weather was perfect and the rest of the people were very nice. I would recommend this tour!
Our tour guide Marcy was great! She was aware of the group's safety as we walked through the neighborhood. She gave great information and was able to answer questions from the group. The food samples were excellent. It was a fun afternoon!
My wife and I could not make it because of flight cancelation into NYC .Had to drive there and arrived too late but our friends who we booked with made it and had a wonderful time so sad to miss it
