On this tour, you will explore St. Lucia Estuary, which is a part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, and it is South Africa's first World Heritage Site. Board the vessel, find a seat on either deck, grab your camera and get ready to set off on your cruise. Your captain will give a safety briefing and introduction, then you will be on your way, traveling slowly up river about 7 kilometers north of St. Lucia.  Cruise along the mangrove-rich shores of the estuary, as your captain points out various wildlife and tells you about the local ecosystem. When there is a sighting of a pod of Hippos or some Nile Crocodiles basking in the sun, the boat will cruise closer, and slower and allow everyone to take photographs. Your captains are also keen bird watchers, and keen photographers, so they will go out of their way to make it special. If you are lucky you might be able to spot some leopards, elephants, buffalo or waterbuck on the banks of the river, but these sightings can't be guaranteed.  You are welcome throughout to ask any questions you might have during your tour.
