Bath: Sightseeing Boat Cruise with Prosecco

1. Bath: Sightseeing Boat Cruise with Prosecco

On sunny days, enjoy an open cockpit roof on the boat and on cooler days, stay cozy and warm with a real coal fire. As you enjoy your trip in this authentic and lovingly restored 1960s small cruiser, your skipper will point out the key attractions.  See the entrance to the Kennet and Avon Canal, which links London with the Bristol Channel, and cruise under North Parade Bridge. Look out for nesting peregrine falcons at the 19th-century St. John’s Church, and marvel at the views of Pulteney Bridge, the rushing weir, and the city center architecture, including the 17th-century Bath Abbey. Enjoy your view with 2 glasses of Prosecco while you pass under Halfpenny Bridge and see the location where the old wharves used to stand, the central point of Bath’s trading links with Bristol since the 18th century.

We had a brilliant experience with the City Boat Trip and Walking Tour very welcoming and accommodating. The trip on the boat was lovely, Paul and his team are very informative and all the highlights that can be seen from the boat were pointed out to us, it was great to hear the stories and the history of the river and have all our questions answered. The selection of beverages available on board were also impressive! Annabelle who led the walking tour was fantastic she had a wealth of historical knowledge of the area and made it fun for all ages from 8 to 65. Was great to see the parts of the City that we wouldn't have necessarily seen if we had walked around ourselves. My son loved the quiz and the medal at the end. We have learned so much from this trip which will stay with us. We Would all highly recommend this as an activity when visiting Bath as a must do. Great value for money and added to the 'special' feeling of the City. Thank you.

Brilliant morning had - 10 of us & we were thoroughly looked after by the crew. Very knowledgeable & attentive - Billie was lovely keeping us topped up.
