Saint George's: Grenada River Tubing and Waterfall Excursion

Unfortunately, this trip was a total failure. Despite the high price (145€/person), we decided to go on it spontaneously because the reviews were very good. The guide showed up 30 minutes after the agreed time and kept the whole group waiting for no reason. When we were sitting in the bus, he asked if we hadn't had breakfast because we weren't cheering euphorically. Then he raced off into the mountains, up narrow switchbacks because he had to hurry because of the set time for tubing. There were no explanations about the country. The stop at the lake was less than 10 minutes, two monkeys were lured with a banana. And then on to tubing. The river didn't have enough water (which is completely normal, after asking), so you got stuck on every second rock. Also a failure. The waterfall is small but beautiful, lots of tourists. Instead of the guide telling us about culture/nature, he kept asking questions that no one understood because his English was difficult for everyone to understand.

le tubing était absolument génial, notre chauffeur était fantastique, grâce à lui nous avons pu voir les signes et faire des photos avec eux, il nous a raconté l'histoire de l'île. la cascade et la zone autour sont magnifiques. nous y avons pris un repas local très bon. je recommande cette aventure. Si je dois y retourner je n'hésiterai pas à le refaire. merci au guide qui nous a même proposé de nous déposer à la plage après l'excursion. Dimitri
