Depart your Amman hotel by a leisure air-conditioned vehicle with English-Speaking Driver who doubles up as your guide, and set off on your private tour, traveling to Madaba the city of mosaics. Arrive at Saint George’s Church, the 19th-century basilica in the heart of the town. This famous church houses the Madaba Mosaic Map, an intricately detailed floor mosaic of the Holy Land believed to have been created in the 6th century A.D. Admire the church interior and marvel at the stunning floor map, with its evocative depictions of ancient Jerusalem, Jericho, and lands including the Lebanon, Sinai, and Egypt. Proceed to the open-air museum known as the Archaeological Park, which houses a collection of ruins and mosaics like the Church of Virgin Mary and other floor house mosaics. Visit the historic Catholic Church of Saint John the Baptist, with its beautiful Bell Tower for a breath-taking view of Madaba. Visit its underground museum memorial of Saint John the Baptist. Continue to Mount Nebo, the hill where Moses is believed to have gazed out over the Holy Land. Absorb the sweeping views over the Dead Sea and Jordan Valley, and visit the Byzantine Church on the summit to see its fabled mosaics. Behold the luminous pieces of early art and their vivid recreations of animals, people, and hunting winemaking scenes in this beautiful Franciscan Monastery. On route, soak in views of Jordan’s barren landscapes, and pull up at Bethany Beyond the Jordan River, known as “El-Maghtas” in Arabic, the site on the eastern bank of the river where it’s believed Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Meet up with a local guide, and take a tour of the riverbanks and key excavated ruins, learning how the site was sanctified as the place of Jesus’ baptism by the Vatican and a visit by Pope John Paul II in 2000 A.D. As you walk, listen as your guide explains why archaeologists believe that it was here that John the Baptist lived, preached, and performed baptisms. Hear more about this famous Christian pilgrimage spot and how it is held holy in all three major religions — Christianity, Judaism, and Islam for being the believed site of the Prophet Elijah’s ascension to heaven. Please note: the Bethany in this trip should not be confused with Bethany in Jerusalem, where it's believed that Mary Magdalene lived and Lazarus rose from the dead. Ihab was such an amazing tour guide. He arranged the transportation and was very familiar with the directions. He helped us navigate language barriers while we were in Jordan. He gave us a first-hand view of the local life in each destination, helped us experience an authentic slice of every town and city, learn historical and political background of the country, get discounts and exceptional value for money, sample delicious local cuisine, and gain access to places and curated experiences. One of the friendliest and cheerful tour guides I have ever met. He managed our tour time efficiently. Weeks before the tour he was promptly responding to our queries over e-mail, and even gave solutions to our travel needs and inquiries. The schedule was also flexible to what we wanted to do and see in Jordan. He had a great time too and was also genuinely enjoying our company. Will definitely recommend him and this tour! It gave us such a memorable time in Jordan. Thanks, Ihab! God bless you! :)

Honestly the transportation driver was amazing Fares; he spoke English , drove carefully and took me to everywhere I wanted to see. Very happy with him and would recommend him to everyone as he speaks 4 different languages very smart man! My issue is with the sites one was closed so I didn’t get to see; the baptism site I was allowed to enter although the reception guy told me I could. And the Dead Sea I only got an hour at and didn’t get to do the mud bath which I was really excited about. Again the driver was amazing and would recommend him to EVERYONE but the sites :/ well I heard people had better experiences not complaining I enjoyed my day just a bit disappointed but fares went above and beyond to put a smile on my face and try and make my day better seeing how things turned out ‘ thank you fares

Ramzi is, hands down, the most amazing tour guide we’ve ever had in our lives. He truly goes out of his way to make you feel at home whenever you're with him. I can't recommend him enough, conversation was amazing, smooth driver, knowledgeable, and just an all around great person. God bless him and his precious family. We’ll be back!

The truth is that everything was very good, our guide Mustafa was showing us places and explaining things to us about the local sites. He gave us very good recommendations and even gave us a chance to try fruits from there. He made the trip more enjoyable so the experience was perfect and a 10 to the driver.

Omar was super nice. And the visit was wonderful. Jordan is a wonderful country !
