The city of Srebrenica is located around two and a half hours from the city of Sarajevo. The road takes you through a desolate, mountainous area with beautiful nature. While you are able to enjoy the scenery you will start learning about the history of Yugoslavia, so you can better understand the genocide of Srebrenica.  Your first stop is in front of the battery factory, used by UN forces during the war in Bosnia.
