Full description

Explore the slot canyons of East Zion and ride in a UTV on this adventure tour. With a guide driving you around, sit back and enjoy the experience. Navigate through diverse terrain to reach the canyons and then hike to explore the deepest parts of these remote areas.

Start with a thrilling ride in a customized off-road machine leading to a slot canyon, far from any paved roads. Once at the canyon's mouth, the hike begins. The red canyon walls stretch over 100 feet high on either side, with a gap of only 6-10 feet between the walls to hike through. Led by a guide and local expert, the tour continues on foot through the canyon while learning about Native American history and geographical information. Large boulders frequent the route, requiring climbs of 3-6 feet with the guide's assistance.

Pass by the highlights of Zion National Park, such as the peaks of Kolob Canyons, the sandstone mountain of the Altar of Sacrifice, the Temple of Sinawava natural amphitheater, and the Angels Landing rock formation.

After traveling the desired distance into the canyon and capturing stunning pictures of these sandstone formations, hike the same route back to the vehicle and return to the meeting location.

We had a great time. Just the right amount of walking and riding. Our guide Megan was great. Very relaxed and low key with plenty of time for each stop. The guides took beautiful pics for each of us. Make sure you’re up to a UTV ride down the trail with a few bumps and can hike and climb a bit. Cant over exaggerate the great scenery and awe.

Really fun morning exploring slot canyons. Our guides were Tait and Easton who were terrific. They were knowledgeable, super friendly, great drivers and willing to take as many pictures as we wanted. The slot canyons were spectacular, and quite easy to navigate. We couldn’t go all the way into the Crimson one, due to standing water. But what we could see was amazing. Highly recommend this activity!

John was a great guide, full of history and information to make the trip memorable. However, my husband and I are 71 years old and not sure a climb through tight spaces was appropriate for us. We did do it with a lot of assistance but it was a difficult climb and a little scary. The slots were incredible to see.
