Full description
Your tour starts at 7:00 AM in Split and you will head out to experience the ambiance of Bosnia and Herzegovina when visiting the incredible city of Mostar. Mostar is a small picturesque town, famous for its Old Bridge from the 16th century and professional jumpers who jump from the bridge into the cold Neretva River to impress visitors. The architecture here presents a symbol of tolerance: a shared life between Muslims, Christians, and Jews. A local guide will great you there and you will have a guided tour followed by 2 hours of free time for you to explore the rich culture of the city. The last stop on the tour depends on what the majority of the group wants to see. You can either visit the wonderful Kravica waterfalls where you can go swimming during the summer months or you can visit the Medjugorje Sanctuary where the Virgin Mary appeared in front of six witnesses. After the last stop of the tour, you will head back to Split.

Great one-day trip to Mostar and the waterfalls. Our driver and guide (Mario) was very informative, nice, and friendly. Even when I lost my phone, he came down and delayed our departure to help me find it. He recommended a great place to eat in Mostar and we were not disappointed at all. The van was air-conditioned and very comfortable. Our guide in Mostar, Amer, showed us around the little city with a short walking tour. We got to see a jumper from the Mostar bridge! Mario and Amer recommended a few sites for us to visit in our free time. The time in Mostart is enough for lunch and to explore the city on your own (around 2 hours). After that, we went to the waterfalls. They were worth the visit! We had around an hour and a half to swim, and we really enjoyed the magical scenery.

Nice tour. Small group of 5 people in a mini van. Nice tour guide with us. Would recommend this tour. We got to Ponticelli, Mostar, Merjugorie and Kravice. On the side note, I felt, the local guide they arranged in Mostar, Amer, he was getting too political in tour information. Bosnia is intertwined in politics and history, we know. But we are not interested in someone's personal political views, as a tourist, and as he requested, none of the tourists are going to make a political change in Bosnia, by being a tourist. That is the fact. I would recommend sharing history of Bosnia but keep the guides political views to himself.
