Excellent way to visit Plitvice Lakes and learn about Croatia and the war of independence. Tour guide was wonderful answering questions and sharing his knowledge of Croatia and the Park! Great way to transfer from Zagreb to Split. You switch buses at the park and head south to Split.

This tour was amazing. The pickup in Zagreb was extremely well-organized, and this is the best way I can think of to get to Split while stopping at Plitvice Lakes. The tour guide, Marko, was amazing. He kept track of 30 tourists in a massive park and was knowledgeable and friendly. The park itself is truly a "wow" experience - 100% worth going to. Before transferring to Split, they bring you to a local restaurant - which, they do kind of pigeonhole you into going here as it's the only restaurant in the area, and I'm sure they have a stake in it - but it was so amazing I don't even mind. Good prices & home-cooked food, what's not to like, especially after a long tour. The switch of groups to who was going back to Zagreb vs people going to Split was easy. Everything was incredible. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Recommend!!!!

Our guide, Tanja, was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. We learned much regarding the history of Split, the culture of Croatia, the local customs and language dialects. Tanja also referred us to, amongst other things, Diacletian's Dream, a virtual reality experience at a venue directly opposite Diacletian's Palace, which illustrated what it would have looked like in the 4th century. This too was a wonderful experience.
